My Services
All of my lessons take place at my home in my music room/home studio. Every lesson is tailored to each student based on their age, experience, goals and interests therefore I may not cover all of these in your lesson but here is an idea of what my lessons can provide.
vocal coaching
pitch, rhythm, breathing, voice and diction. Every singer is different & therefore need assistance in some areas more than others. I will also cover the importance of vocal health and looking after your vocal chords.
Songwriting
As a songwriter I love to help aspiring writers to create their own songs & for those musicians out there who are wanting to learn and don't know where to start I have some great tips & ideas for getting the creative juices flowing.
vocal exam preparation
Graded or performance exam.
(all grades from 1-8)
dependent on your singing style one exam board may suit you better than another based on your goals. please note grades can be taken by both children & adults!

Microphone Techniques
How maintaining the correct grip, angle, position,& distance gives you a consistent & better quality sound. I encourage my students to sing there practiced songs with a microphone to test these techniques & to prepare for any live performances.
Performance
A song tells a story and its important that we can bring out the emotion and dynamics into a song to portray this story. confidence is key & learning the methods we can use to combat anxiety when singing Infront of others is a great skill to have.
Studio recordings
I have the facilities to record live songs in my home studio, which you can keep & show to family and friends or keep for yourself to track your progress, its also a lovely keepsake to have for years to come and a great opportunity to experience what it would be like in a professional studio setting.
